SUBLIME Energie
SUBLIME Energie is tackling one of the major constraints on decentralised biomethane production: how to make renewable-gas projects viable for smaller agricultural plants located far from the natural gas grid.
Its proprietary technology liquefies raw biogas at the production site so that it can be transported to a central facility for upgrading. Instead of requiring each farm to invest in its own upgrading infrastructure, the model pools purification, bioCO₂ recovery and the production and distribution of bioLNG and bioCO₂.
The concept has progressed from research and development to the Bravo pilot and, in April 2026, the inauguration of the Charlie industrial demonstrator in Brittany. Charlie is designed to produce approximately 180 tonnes of bioLNG and 300 tonnes of high-purity biogenic CO₂ annually, paving the way for the larger Delta commercial project planned for 2028.
By combining decentralised biogas production with centralised upgrading, SUBLIME Energie aims to reduce duplicated infrastructure, improve capital efficiency and create new revenue opportunities for agricultural producers.
Why vote for SUBLIME Energie? Because it is rethinking the biomethane value chain as a whole — offering a practical way to unlock smaller and off-grid resources while improving efficiency, circularity and the economic viability of renewable-gas production.
