Lotte Visser is currently working as program manager biomethane at the Dutch Ministry of Climate Policy and Green Growth, also acting as deputy head of unit responsible for the heat transition of the built environment. In this position she mainly coordinates the design and implementation of the biomethane blending obligation, set to come into effect in 2027. Previously she worked at the University of Utrecht where she obtained a PhD in supply chain optimization and the impact of wood pellet production and import.
