Miriam Weissroth – Finalist Award Women Trailblazer
Miriam Weissroth is a Doctor of Natural Sciences with 25 years of expertise, primarily focused on digestate from anaerobic digestion and the treatment of challenging effluents, with a focus on water and nutrient recovery.
Serving as Head of Research & Product Development first for WEHRLE-WERK and now Lundsby Renewable Solutions, she explores the entire process chain of treatment, including solids separation, biological/membrane processes, and advanced technologies.
Miriam played a key role in the teams designing and operating the first large-scale manure and digestate treatment plants and is now working on major biogas projects. Recognized through research collaborations and advisory roles, she also engages with universities as a lecturer and thesis supervisor.
