CH4T

CH4T leverages neural networks, artificial intelligence, and advanced operational management to enhance the efficiency and profitability of its biogas plants. By combining the expertise of its personnel with cutting-edge technology, CH4T has already achieved significant gains and is positioned for continued improvement across its network of seven plants.

The company has boosted profitability through three key factors: reduced downtime, lower raw material consumption, and higher biomass yield. Downtime is minimized via more effective preventive maintenance, informed by historical operating data and real-time plant parameters. Raw material usage is optimized through improved process “recipes,” while automated feedstock management increases biomass yield.

CH4T’s system integrates advanced sensors — including NIR, hopper and loader weighing devices, liquid flow, viscosity, and pH sensors, as well as electrical devices monitoring power consumption — to collect accurate, real-time data. Key biogas quality parameters (% CH4, % CO2, % O2) are continuously monitored, with data processed by predictive models based on artificial intelligence and neural networks, enabling scenario generation, simulations, and productivity reporting.

Through this approach, CH4T combines technical precision with intelligent management to maximize plant performance and sustainability outcomes.
