Growing up

Description: A project for the climate and energy strategy: Europe is preparing to produce 35-45 bcm of biomethane by 2030, rising to 167 bcm by 2050. Biogas and biomethane players are thrilled to fuel Europe with renewable energy but it will require knowledge and innovative skills. The targets are challenging, results are crucial, but people are essential. It is truly incredible to find out how much the great efforts and passion we put into each project, to bring them to life and to ensure they grow, are worth. Like the time someone in a remote village in the South of Italy had the inventive idea of transforming the ancient farm into an innovative agro-ecosystem, where today 120 people from four different continents work together to produce food and to make use of the by-products from the local region through biogas and biomethane generation, improving environmental sustainability and mitigating farming emissions. Why not? The inspiration to believe in herself and in her greener future!
