Michał Łęski

Director , Department of Renewable Energy Sources - Ministry of Climate and Environment, Poland

PhD in law obtained with distinction, based on a dissertation on renewable energy sources. A graduate of the National School of Public Administration and an appointed civil servant, he also completed a Legislative Application program at the Government Legislation Center.

He combines theoretical and practical knowledge gained from various roles, including in the Department of Electricity at the Ministry of Energy, the Directorate for Energy of the European Commission, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he focused on European and regional energy policy.

As the Head of the Unit for Regulation and Support Systems for Renewable Energy Sources, he was responsible for preparing draft laws and regulations in this field. He currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Renewable Energy Sources Department for regulatory affairs at the Ministry of Climate and Environment.
