Kees van Der Leun
Kees van der Leun has been working on the energy transition as a consultant for over 35 years. Before co-founding Common Futures in 2021, he worked on renewable gases for Gas for Climate and the European Hydrogen Backbone, and on system integration of offshore wind for a variety of clients. Currently, he advises Dutch government on its Energy Infrastructure Plan for the North Sea, and supports major offshore wind developers in their system integration strategies. For the Biomethane Industrial Partnership, he is rapporteur of the Task Force on Cost efficiency of biomethane production and grid connection.
