Bill Callanan is Chief Inspector at the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM). He is responsible for the provision of advice on the practice of Agriculture and on Science and Technology related to the agrifood sector within DAFM. Heading up the Agricultural Inspectorate, with over 300 graduate professionals across the Department, he has direct responsibility for DAFM’s research, and is environment policy lead on climate, water and biodiversity.
