Andrea Qualiano

Andrea has over 17 years of experience in the energy sector working in the commercial, regulatory and development areas of the Gas and LNG industry. He joined Edison in 2007 as a leading Market Analyst to primarily support the international expansion of the company by developing the commercial strategies as well as the business plans of international gas projects. He then gained experience in the commercial team by acquiring an extensive expertise in the management of long-term contracts by successfully concluding 4 renegotiations of two gas/LNG contracts. Then Andrea moved to the development team to deliver the EIA application for one Regasification Terminal and 3 SSLNG coastal deposits in Italy. Andrea then became head of Market Intelligence & Policy Support overlooking the Global Gas and LNG markets being primarily responsible to deliver market strategic insights and coordinate the definition company’s positioning on policy issues, by also representing the company in leading international gas associations. Andrea now heads the newly-build Green Gas Origination and Gas Supply Portfolio Decarbonization unit whose mission is to procure green gases to decarbonize the gas supply portfolio of the company.
