Sustainable biomethane represents one of the few readily available and cost-competitive alternatives to defossilise long distance and energy-intensive transport segments, such as maritime and aviation. This session will look into the current impact of biomethane in transport decarbonisation and how the EU legislation can speed up this process by facilitating the further deployment of alternative fuels.
