BiomethaneTracer project: Workshop and Technical session
The BiomethaneTracer project aims to investigate the most innovative strategies for the evaluation and mitigation of fugitive biogas/biomethane leakages in anaerobic digestion plant. Knowledge about instrumentation and measurement methods will be studied and developed to optimize economic management, increase workers safety and reduce environmental impacts.
Activity organised on 29 October:
In the morning (09:15-13:00), a Workshop will be held at the Technopole of Reggio Emilia (Italy). During the workshop, the BiomethaneTracer project will be illustrated and researchers will present speeches related to technologies and methods for monitoring fugitive emissions of biogas/biomethane from anaerobic digestion plants.
In the afternoon (14.00-16.00), a Technical Session will be held at an agricultural biogas plant (Reggio Emilia, Italy). During the site visit, several instrumentation and methods for biogas/biomethane leakages detection will be showed.
Target: Anaerobic digestion plant owners, anaerobic digestion plant engineers, analytical laboratories, researchers, public administrations and environmental monitoring, prevention and protection authorities.
Language: Italian
